Abstract:
The present invention provides a bearing component in the form of an annular member having a two-dimensional code shaped to have a larger maximum circumferential dimension than a maximum radial dimension or a maximum axial dimension. An individual identification method for a bearing component comprises a step for capturing an image of a bearing component while rotating the bearing component, a step for detecting a line pattern of a two-dimensional code from the captured image, a step for recognizing the two-dimensional code with reference to the extending direction of the line pattern, a step for referring to a database on the basis of information on the two-dimensional code and extracting corresponding registration information, and a step for identifying the bearing component in accordance with the extracted registration information.
