Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a bearing device capable of appropriately supplying a lubricant to a bearing, and also to a rotary machine such as a pump that is equipped with such a bearing device. The bearing device (9) is equipped with a double row of rolling bearings (9A) that receive a load acting in the thrust direction of a rotating shaft (1), a lubricant storage tank (10) positioned below the double row of rolling bearings (9A), and oil rings (20) that are supported by the rotating shaft (1) and pull up the lubricant stored in the lubricant storage tank (10) as the rotating shaft (1) rotates. The oil rings (20) are positioned on both sides of the double row of rolling bearings (9A).
