Abstract:
This bearing device for a wheel is provided with: an outer ring having a radially protruding leg part on the outer circumference thereof; an inner shaft having a flange on a shaft end thereof; rolling bodies; a sealing device that seals an opening on the flange side; and a slinger fixed to the inner shaft and axially extending to the radial outside of the sealing device. The sealing device is provided with elastic lips and a cylindrical cover part that is in elastic contact with the outer circumferential surface of the outer ring. The slinger radially faces at least a portion of the outer circumference of the cover part with a gap therebetween.
