Abstract:
A bearing device in which the inner surface of a housing (112) coaxially supporting a pair of ball bearings (111) supporting a spindle (shaft) (S) is formed with a step portion (113) abutting against the end surfaces of the outer rings of the ball bearings (111), wherein the opposite ends of the housing (112) are formed with fitting portions (112a) for the ball bearings (111), and the inner surface of the housing between the fitting portions (112a) and the step portion (113) is larger than the outer diameter of the ball bearings (111). Further, the press fitting length of the press fitting portion between the shaft and the inner ring is not more than 1&sol 3 of the shaft diameter.
