Abstract:
A bearing front sealing device having an observation hole, which is applied to a railway wagon bearing and comprises a front cover (1) arranged on one side of a bearing (6) in an axial direction. A through observation hole is formed in the front cover (1); a sealing plug (2) is assembled in the observation hole; the sealing plug (2) is in interference fit with a hole wall of the observation hole; and a plurality of recesses (5) are formed in a side wall of the sealing plug (2) in contact with the observation hole. The observation hole is machined in the front cover (1), so that conditions of an axle (7) can be observed when the bearing (6) is abnormal or overhauled, thus ensuring normal operation of the bearing (6), and prolonging the service life of the bearing (6). The sealing plug (2) and the front cover (1) are in interference fit, and the recesses (5) are designed in a side face of the sealing plug (2), so that the sealing plug (2) can be conveniently assembled and disassembled when it is ensured that the sealing plug (2) is stably assembled, thus preventing the sealing plug (2) from being damaged during assembling and disassembling processes.
