Abstract:
A bearing grease is characterized in being a mixed base oil containing a base oil and a thickening agent, the base oil containing a poly-alpha-olefin and an ester, and in being used in a hydrogen-free fluorocompound refrigerant environment. A bearing in which this bearing grease is used does not leak grease for a long period of time. Unlike a lubricating oil, no recovery system is necessary; therefore, the area around the bearing can be made compact. Application is accordingly facilitated in automotive and industrial machinery having an energy recovery device employing a Rankine cycle.
