Abstract:
Provided is a bearing mechanism with which the retention structure for radial bearings in a frame is improved, thereby ensuring that deformation of a cylindrical part or the like does not easily occur when the radial bearings are press-fitted into the frame. Also provided is a motor device equipped with this bearing mechanism. Specifically, in this bearing mechanism (7) radial bearings (71, 72) are manufactured from resin, and are equipped with cylindrical parts (711, 721) which rotatably support a worm (2) (a rotary shaft) and flange parts (712, 722) which have an increased diameter and are on the outside of the cylindrical parts (711, 721) in the radial direction. The flange part (712) is press-fitted between two wall surfaces (611, 612) of a slit (610) in a frame (6), and the flange part (722) is press-fitted between two wall surfaces (621, 622) of a slit (620) in the frame (6). Grooves (910, 920) are formed in a cover (9) so as to accommodate at least part of the portion of the flange parts (712, 722) protruding from the slits (610, 620).
