Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a vibration damping device having a bearing member with which it is possible to simplify the configuration of the vibration damping device and reduce the frictional force during the operation of the vibration damping device, said bearing member having an excellent resistance to abrasion. A vibration damping device has a resin layer (28) on the side defined by a frictional sliding surface of a base member (25), wherein the resin layer (28) is equipped with a bearing structure for lubricating, with a viscomagnetic fluid composition, a metal bush (32) (bearing member) that contains polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and a tetrafluoroethylene-perfluoroalkylvinylether copolymer resin (PFA).
