Abstract:
This bearing monitoring device is for a railway vehicle in which a plurality of cars having car bodies and trucks are coupled to each other. The bearing monitoring device is provided with: bearing temperature sensors that are provided to each of the trucks and that directly or indirectly detect the temperatures of the bearings of each of the trucks; at least one state sensor that is provided to at least one car body among the plurality of cars and that is used to calculate the loads or the rotational speeds of the bearings; and a storage device that is provided to at least one of the car bodies among the plurality of cars and that stores the data for each signal detected by the bearing temperature sensors and the state sensor.
