Abstract:
This bearing structure comprises: a rotating shaft; a bearing that is attached inside a housing and that supports the rotating shaft relative to the housing, the bearing having an inner race through which the rotating shaft is inserted, and an outer race including a ring-shaped groove part formed in an outer peripheral surface that faces an inner peripheral surface of the housing; and an O ring that is placed in the groove part of the outer race of the bearing, and that protrudes diametrically outward past the outer peripheral surface to come into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the housing. Clearance is formed between the inner peripheral surface of the housing and the outer peripheral surface of the bearing. The clearance is greater than the amount of diametrical displacement of the O ring.
