Abstract:
A bearing structure for a shaft includes: a shaft having a male thread formed thereon and also having a radially inwardly indented recess partially circumferentially formed therein; a cylindrical holder having the shaft disposed therein; a bearing mounted on the opening side of the holder at a position between the shaft and the holder and rotatably supporting the shaft; a thread engagement member having formed thereon a female thread engaging with the male thread, the thread engagement member further having formed on the outer periphery thereof a flat surface intersecting the circumferential direction of the shaft, the thread engagement member being coaxially engaged through threads with the shaft from the opening side; and an engagement member having formed thereon a protrusion fitted in the recess, the engagement member further having formed thereon an engagement section engaging with the flat surface, the engagement member being partially engaged with both the shaft and the thread engagement member.
