Abstract:
A bearing unit (10) comprises: a thrust damper (20) that is stretchable in the axial direction of a shaft (2A) disposed in a gear box (4) and that is restricted from moving toward one side in the axial direction; a shaft reception component (30) that is held on the thrust damper (20) from the other side of the thrust damper (20) in the axial direction; a metal holder (50) that holds the shaft reception component (30) so as to be separable in the axial direction; and an oilless metal (40) that is held by the metal holder (50) and disposed at the other side of the shaft reception component (30). The thrust damper (20), the shaft reception component (30), the metal holder (50), and the oilless metal (40) are integrated before incorporating the same into the gear box (4).
