Abstract:
On a portion of the attaching surface (14) and on the circumference of the same circle with the center at the center axis of a hub (8), a recessed groove (38) is formed throughout the circumference such that the recessed groove is depressed from the attaching surface (14). And substantially the middle of the width of the bottom of this recessed groove (38) is formed with an attaching hole (15) into which a stud (9) is to be press-fitted. Let W be the width of the recessed groove (38) as seen radially, and d be the inner diameter of the attaching hole (15), and W=d+(5-25 mm). This arrangement suppresses deformation of the attaching surface (14), which attends the pressure fitting of the stud (9), thus making it possible to solve the above problem. This suppresses the deflection of a rotor (2) fixed on the attaching surface (14) for an attaching flange (13), thus suppressing judder that tends to occur during braking.
