Abstract:
A bearing for wheel, in which, despite the bearing being constructed such that
a staking portion of a hub ring presses an end face of an inboard side inner ring,
a difference in the amounts of expansion caused by staking and occurring between
the two rows of inner ring raceways can be absorbed and in which the two rows of inner
rings can be in common with each other. The diameter of a portion (S1) at the outer
diameter surface of a shaft section (8b) of the hub ring (8) and on which the inner
ring (9A) on the outboard side is fitted is set greater than the diameter of a portion
(S2) on which the inner ring (9B) on the inboard side is fitted. Consequently,
interference on the inner ring (9A) on the outboard side is set greater than that
on the inner ring (9B) on the inboard side. The diameters of two rows of raceways
(4) of an outer member (2) is set such that the diameter of the raceway (4) on the
outboard side is greater than that of the raceway (4) on the inboard side.
