Abstract:
Disclosed is a bearing with a sensor, which comprises a sensor holder formed of a discontinuous ring-shaped resin body and a ball bearing of which outer race supports the sensor holder using a circumferential groove thereof, the fixation of the sensor holder being reinforced by a spring member including elastic rebound portions sectioned into two parts in the circumferential direction. Since the spring force for reinforcing the fixation of the sensor holder can be increased as described above, the sensor holder can be fixed more firmly. Specifically, a spring member (15) is a wire form of square wire including a main portion (16) fitted in a discontinuous ring-shaped groove (14) of a sensor holder (7) and two end portions (17, 17) protruding from the discontinuous ring-shaped groove (14) in the circumferential direction and located inside an open recessed portion (18) of the sensor holder (7). The two end portions (17, 17) of the spring member (15) overlap with each other in the axial direction when the main portion (16) is fitted in the discontinuous ring-shaped groove (14), and butt each other and are bent when one of the two end portions (17, 17) is shifted so that the two end portions do not overlap with each other. The force (F) of elastic rebound of the two bent end portions (17, 17) increases the force with which the main portion (16) pushes the sensor holder (7) toward the outer diameter. As a result, the spring force for reinforcing the fixation of the sensor holder (7) is increased.
