Abstract:
A bearing according to the present invention is provided with a retainer for the bearing serving as a rolling element guide for retaining a rolling element interposed between inner and outer rings in a pocket. The pocket is provided with: a body hole portion having a cylindrical shape; and a rolling element guide portion which is located on the inner-diameter side of the body hole portion and has a conical shape reduced in diameter from the outer-diameter side toward the inner-diameter side of the body hole portion. The rolling-direction side of the rolling element guide portion is partially omitted to form a relief portion on the rolling-direction side.
