Abstract:
Provided is a beauty appliance having a contact surface to be in contact with skin, the beauty appliance having: a main body; a pedestal supported by the main body; a flexible contact member that is supported by the pedestal and has formed thereon the contact surface; and an electrode for detecting a cosmetic on the surface of a skin which is in contact with the contact surface, wherein the electrode slidably passes through the pedestal and is fitted to the contact member so that the leading end of the electrode protrudes from the contact surface.
