Abstract:

A bed device is characterized by being provided with: an operation unit which accepts an operation input; a control unit which controls the movement of a bed in response to the operation input; a detection unit which detects the position of a patient on the bed; and a restriction table which associates and stores restricted regions set on the bed and restriction contents, and, when the position of the patient detected by the detection unit is included in the restricted regions, reading the restriction content from the restriction table and controlling the control unit in accordance with the restriction content. Consequently, the bed device with a higher level of safety, which, for example, not only reports a danger accompanying the movement of the bed but also restricts the movement of the bed according to the state of the patient or the bed device, can be provided.
