Abstract:
A beer brewing apparatus and method. The apparatus comprises a liquid inlet pipe (1), a hop container (2), a saccharification container (3), a fermentation container (4), a heating unit (5), a refrigeration unit (6), a controller (7) and a water way selection mechanism (8); a filter (9) is mounted in the saccharification container (3), and the saccharification container (3) is divided by the filter (9) into an upper space for storing malt and a lower space (34) for filtering; the hop container (2) is arranged in the upper space, and the water way selection mechanism (8) is arranged above the hop container (2); an outlet at the bottom of the lower space (34) is connected to an inlet of the heating unit (5), and an outlet of the heating unit (5) is connected to the fermentation container (4); the refrigeration unit (6) is installed at the fermentation container (4); the water way selection mechanism (8), under the control of the controller, causes the liquid from the inlet pipe (1) to flow into the lower space (34) by means of one of a plurality of different flow paths corresponding to the water way selection mechanism (8).
