Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a beer-like alcoholic beverage which has a reduced sugar content, imparts less of an alcoholic burning sensation, and exhibits an excellent balance in terms of beer-like flavor. The present invention solves this problem by providing a beer-like alcoholic beverage in which the 4-vinyl guaiacol (4VG) concentration is 10-200ppb(w/v), the 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline (2AP) concentration is less than 1ppb(w/v), the sugar concentration is 2.0g/100ml or less, and the alcohol concentration is 4-10% (v/v).
