Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a behavior investigation device for an extending/contracting flexible pipe joint that is capable of reliable electrical detection of the positional relationship between first piping and second piping in relation to an extending/contracting flexible pipe joint. [Solution] A behavior investigation device (33) for an extending/contracting flexible pipe joint is provided with a first measurement tool group (11) configured from a set of a plurality of first measurement tools (12) for measuring a first distance change amount that is the amount of change in the distance between a first pipe position (15) of a first pipe (1) and a first reference position (16) of a sleeve (4) of an extending/contracting flexible pipe joint (3) and a second measurement tool group (13) configured from a set of a plurality of second measurement tools (14) for measuring a second distance change amount that is the amount of change in the distance between a second pipe position (17) of a second pipe and a second reference position (18) of the sleeve (4). The plurality of first measurement tools (12) are disposed in different positions in the circumferential direction of the sleeve (4) and the plurality of second measurement tools (14) are disposed in different positions in the circumferential direction of the sleeve (4). The displacement positions of the first pipe (1) and second pipe (2) in relation to the extending/contracting flexible pipe joint (3) are calculated from the measurement data from the first measurement tool group (11) and the measurement data from the second measurement tool group (13).
