Abstract:
The present invention relates to a bellows forming apparatus and forming method, which can form, at one time, a material pipe, made from materials such as a stainless steel sheet, into a bellows by using a plurality of upper-dies and lower-dies so as to carry out the operation rapidly, reduce manpower, improve productivity, and manufacture high-quality products. That is, the present invention comprises: a rotating-shaft rotatably provided at the upper part of a frame through a shaft; the plurality of lower-dies provided at the rotating-shaft in predetermined intervals so as to move horizontally; an idling-shaft provided to a lifting means at the upper part of the rotating-shaft through the shaft, so as to rotate freely; and the plurality of upper-dies provided at the idling-shaft at predetermined intervals so as to move horizontally, and thus can form, into a bellows, the material pipe which is horizontally coupled to the lower-dies in the longitudinal direction, by the downward movement of the upper-dies together with the horizontal movement of the upper-dies and the lower-dies from the left and right sides thereof toward the center thereof. The present invention can remarkably shorten operating time for manufacturing the bellows so as to improve productivity, and can uniformly maintain the thickness of the materials so as to manufacture high-quality bellows.
