The present invention is related to a device for relief and stabilisation of objects when being carried.
In many occupational groups people are carrying objects while walking or standing, which are used during work or in leisure time, such as in woodland and in land fields. Hunters are carrying their weapons in their hands long distances and they may be on stand during long periods of time, thereby being prepared to suddenly fire shots. In a corresponding way soldiers hold and carry equipment of different kinds and thereby always being on guard. Other objects must be carried and kept in similar connections are fishing rods, cameras and tripod for cameras, dog chains etc. Very often the objects must be easily accessible in such a way that they may be used only by easy hand grips, even if the objects may have low weight, the load may remarkable over time which may lead to reduced safety, poor accuracy and large load on the neck and the back. There is no suitable solution of this problem in the market.
It therefore is an object of the present invention to provide a device for relieve and stabilize objects which are carried or hold, and where the object at any time should be in a correct position to action. To contribute to solve this problem the present invention provides a solution for, many attempts have been made to use loose straps carried over the shoulders, but such solutions have proven not to be suitable for the purpose.
The device for relieve and stabilization according to the present invention satisfy the above mentioned objective and is defined by the features stated in the claims.
The device according to the present invention is especially suitable for persons of occupational groups where instruments and objects must be carried and used substantially in the same position they are carried in, to perform work. The device is suitable for outdoor persons, hunters, anglers, nature photographer as well as for soldiers.
In the drawing figure 1 discloses a perspective drawing of the device according to the invention, figure 2 discloses one half of the device with the edge towards the other half of the device, figure 3 discloses in a perspective view a holder for a gun, figure 4A discloses in a perspective view a holder for a dog chain, figure 4B discloses a short holder for fishing rod and figure 4C discloses a longer holder for a fishing rod, figure 5 discloses the device according to the invention secured to a belt, figure 6 discloses the device according to the invention secured to a harness and figure 7 discloses the device according to the invention secured to a rucksack. The device according to the invention comprises two belt buckles 1 and 2 which can be locked to each other by movement side wise and be released from each other by activating a locking mechanism 3. The belt buckle comprises fasteners 4 for the connection to the belt and fasteners 5 for the connection with the shoulder straps. The shoulder straps 6 and the buckles 1 and 2 can be combined with a rucksack 7 as disclosed in figure 7.
The two halves of the buckle may be displaced in relation to each other and mutually locked by parts of the one half being displaced into the other half and locked. The locking is made by the locking mechanism 3 which can release the mutual locking of the two parts.
Different instruments may be secured to the buckle half 2 as bricks 10 may be guided into slots 1 1 on the buckle half 2. The part 8 thereafter will be locked to the buckle half 2 when the first buckle half 1 is put into place and locked to the half 2. The part 8 may be a holder for a rifle as disclosed in figure 3, a pipe-like holding part 9 adapted to hold a fishing rod, a banner or standard pole, or for example a ring 12 for securing of a dog. The buckle halves 1 and 2 may receive two parts simultaneously, such as the part 8 for holding and resting a rifle and a ring 12 for securing a dog.
With the device and the shoulder straps 6 disclosed in figure 6 and figure 7, a user will obtain a substantial support for objects which must be carried or hold. Not only the arms and the shoulders but the entire body will take over the weight of the objects and especially prevent the arms to perform long lasting static work.
