Abstract:
A belt for shoe press comprising a press roll (1), a belt (2), and a press shoe (3) being employed in a paper making press for pressing a material web (5)in which a crack can be prevented from occurring and growing. The belt comprises a reinforcing layer (6), a first elastic material layer (7), and a second elastic material layer (8) wherein multiple drainage trenches are made in the outer circumferential surface region of the first elastic material layer (7). Bottom of a drainage trench (9a) in a region (S3) close to the axial end part including at least one of a region (S2) close to the axial end part of the press shoe (3) or a region (S1) close to the axial end part of the press roll (1) is projecting beyond the bottom of a drainage trench (9b) in other regions to ward the reinforcing layer (6) side.
