Abstract:
The present invention adjusts, without moving a device to be driven, the tension of a belt that transmits a rotational drive power of a power transmission shaft to the device to be driven. A belt tension adjustment device (100) comprises: a drive pulley (101) that is attached to a power transmission shaft (13a); a driven pulley (105) that is provided to a device (25) to be driven; a tension pulley (106); an endless belt (107) that is stretched over the drive pulley, the driven pulley, and the tension pulley, and that transmits a rotational drive power of the power transmission shaft to the device to be driven; and a tension adjustment mechanism that adjusts the tension of the belt. The tension adjustment mechanism comprises: a spindle (108) that is rotatably supported; a rotation operation mechanism (130) that rotates the spindle around its axis; and a rotation member (120) that connects the spindle and the tension pulley to each other and that changes, in accordance with the rotation of the spindle, the position of the tension pulley relative to the drive pulley and the driven pulley.
