Abstract:
A belt transmission device according to the present invention comprises: a crank pulley; an accessory pulley; a belt which is wound on a plurality of pulleys; and a belt tensioner which imparts tension to the belt, which can swing about a swinging axis that extends parallel to the rotational axis of the accessory pulley, and in which a pair of tensioner pulleys are disposed on opposite sides of the accessory pulley in the circulation direction of the belt. One of the pair of tensioner pulleys is set to be heavier than the other of the pair of tensioner pulleys so that the one of the pair of tensioner pulleys is less likely to be pushed away by the belt.
