Title:
BELT-TYPE CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/131999
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a belt-type continuously variable transmission capable of suppressing or preventing the inclination of a sheave at high temperatures. A belt-type continuously variable transmission comprises: a pair of pulleys each provided with a stationary sheave which rotates integrally with a rotating shaft, and a movable sheave which is disposed on the outer peripheral side of the rotating shaft and disposed to be movable along the rotation axis of the rotating shaft; and a belt which is looped over the pulleys and transmits power, and in an outer peripheral section on the side on which the belt and the movable sheave are not in contact with each other, a position restricting part which restricts the rotation of the movable sheave in the direction in which upon receiving a load from the belt, the width with which the belt is held between the movable sheave and the stationary sheave on the side the belt is in contact with the movable sheave increases.
