Abstract:
This belt-type continuously variable transmission is provided with an operating part (25) with which it is possible to rotate a nut member (21) without relying on rotational force of an electric motor (19), and a threaded shaft (13) can therefore be made to stroke by operating the operating part (25) to rotate the nut member (21). Therefore, the stroke position of the threaded shaft (13) can be adjusted in a simple manner even when a feed screw mechanism is used in which the reverse efficiency of the screw is lower than the forward efficiency. More specifically, a belt-type continuously variable transmission can be provided in which the stroke position of a threaded shaft can be adjusted in a simple manner, even when a feed screw mechanism is used in which efficiency during conversion of threaded shaft linear motion to rotary motion is lower than efficiency during conversion of rotary motion to linear motion.
