Title:
BELT TYPE STEPLESS TRANSMISSION FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/108107
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a belt type stepless transmission for a vehicle, configured in such a manner that a fixed sheave is prevented from tilting. A belt type stepless transmission for a vehicle comprises a parking gear (86) provided on the opposite side of a fixed sheave (64) from a movable sheave (66), and the parking gear (86) is provided with: a circular plate-like body section (86a) secured to an output shaft (50) by being, for example, engaged therewith through splines; and an annular ridge section (86b) which protrudes from the body section (86a) toward the rear surface (90) of the fixed sheave (64), said rear surface (90) being located on the opposite side of the movable sheave (66), and makes contact with the rear surface (90) at the radial position corresponding to the maximum engagement diameter of a power transmitting belt (56). The configuration enables, even if the fixed sheave (64) is subjected to an axial reaction force (Fc2) acting in the axis (C2) direction and applied from the power transmitting belt (56), the parking gear (86), which is formed by applying only a relatively simple change to a conventional product, to support the fixed sheave (64) at the rear surface (90) thereof at a position more toward the outer peripheral side than the minimum engaging diameter of the power transmitting belt (56). As a result, the fixed sheave (64) is prevented from tilting.
