Abstract:
A belt of the present invention is characterized in that the whole or a part of a belt body is formed of a thermoplastic resin composition (C) obtained by dispersing a modified ethylene copolymer (B) in a thermoplastic resin (A). It is preferable that the modified ethylene copolymer (B) be a copolymer, modified by an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof, of ethylene and at least one kind of monomer component selected from (i) an olefin component other than the ethylene, (ii) a diene component, and (iii) an ester component having an ethylenically unsaturated group. The belt of the present invention is not easily worn, damaged, cracked, or ruptured even if used under high load for a long time, and has excellent durability.
