Abstract:
This bendable tube (1) is provided with: a bendable tube body (10) having a wire passage section (12) provided on the inner surface thereof; an operating wire (13) for the bending operation of the bendable tube body (10); a pipe member (14) press-fitted over the operating wire (13) and engaged with the wire passage section (12) of the bendable tube body (10); and particles (22) located between the outer peripheral surface of the operating wire (13) and the inner peripheral surface of the pipe member (14). The particles (22) have higher hardness than a substance forming the operating wire (13) and the pipe member (14) and are embedded, in a biting manner, in the outer peripheral surface of the operating wire (13) and also in the inner peripheral surface of the pipe member (14).
