Abstract:
A deriving apparatus (10) has: a light source (310); a photodetector (320); a generation unit (600); and a bending information arithmetic unit (110). The generation unit (600) has a light source spectrum information storage unit (622) that stores light source spectrum information. The generation unit (600) generates, on the basis of the light source spectrum information, suppression information for suppressing first change information that indicates a change in spectrum which is not derived from bending of a detected part (411). The bending information arithmetic unit (110) calculates second change information that indicates a change in spectrum which is derived from bending and which includes the first change information, calculates, on the basis of the second change information and the suppression information, third change information that indicates a change in spectrum which is derived from the bending only, and calculates bending information on the basis of the third change information.
