Abstract:
A bending machine (1) is provided with: hydraulic cylinders (9L, 9R) capable of adjusting an inclination state, which is the left/right inclination of an upper table (7); eccentric shaft units (19L, 19R) for curving a portion of a lower table (5); and a control device (30). The control device (30) sets the inclination state of the upper table (7) and sets the curved state of the lower table (5) so as to conform to the inclination state of the upper table (7), thereby carrying out partial bending of pressing a pressing range more limited than a pressing range in which the entire area of an upper die (8) and a lower die (6) in the left-right direction (X) is used to press a workpiece (W). The control device (30) switches among combinations of the inclination state of the upper table (7) and the bending state of the lower table (5) and repeats the partial bending while moving the limited pressing range, thereby carrying out a complete-area bending of pressing the entire area of the workpiece (W) in the left-right direction (X).
