Abstract:
A bending machine comprises a first jig (22) for holding one end of a long workpiece (20); a second jig (24) for holding the other end of the workpiece (20); a rack (30) attached along the length of the first jig (22); a roll-shaped die (21) attached to the second jig (24) to make the workpiece follow the die surface and bend; a pinion (26) connected with the die (21) coaxially through a shaft (28) and engaged with the rack (30); and a coupler (27) for connecting the first jig (22) and the second jig (24) through the shaft (28) so that they can rotate relative to each other, thus allowing the pinion (26) to move in engagement with the rack (30).
