Abstract:
This bending measurement device comprises: a first multimode fiber (2), a wavefront insertion device (4) for causing a first wavefront to enter the first multimode fiber (2), a first wavefront measurement instrument (5) for measuring a wavefront that has propagated through the first multimode fiber (2), and a processor (14) for selecting a transfer function from among transfer functions for each first multimode fiber bending amount on the basis of the wavefront measured by the first wavefront measurement instrument (5) and setting the bending amount associated with the selected transfer function as the current bending amount of the first multimode fiber.
