Abstract:
A beneficiation method for stepped recovery and segmented tailing discarding of a low-grade chromite ore, specifically comprising a technological process of high-pressure roller grinding — coarse grain wet-type strong magnetic pre-concentration — ore grinding — wet-type strong magnetic tailing discarding — strong magnetic concentrate thickness grading — spiral chute refining — middling table re-concentration. A high-pressure roller mill is used as an ultrafine crushing device, which has the characteristics of a large crushing ratio, a low energy consumption, a high product fine fraction content, etc.; the tailing after the pre-concentration can be sold as a building material product due to a relatively large granularity; and a wet-type strong magnetic one-roughing and one-scavenging pre-concentration process is used, such that the treatment granularity is fine, the adaptability is high, the tailing discarding yield is high, and the metal loss ratio is low. When the method is used to process a low-grade chromite ore with a Cr2O3 grade of 19.44%, a chromium concentrate with a Cr2O3 grade of 43.87% and a Cr2O3 recovery rate of 67.28% can be obtained. The method has the advantages of a large system processing capacity, a large coarse grain tailing discarding yield, a high adaptability, being capable of saving on energy and environmentally friendly.
