Abstract:
A beneficiation method for stepwise classification and comprehensive recovery of valuable elements in primary vein platinum mine tailings, comprising the steps of spiral fast harvesting, strong magnetic shunt, chromite flotation, ore grinding and preparing slurry, and platinum palladium flotation. Coarse-grained high-quality chromite is preferentially obtained by means of screw reselection, so as to achieve early collection and fast harvesting. Magnetic separation realizes the separation of weak magnetic minerals and platinum and palladium minerals to facilitate subsequent separation. The weakly magnetic minerals are used for recovering chromite, thereby further improving the utilization rate of tailings resources. The minerals loaded with platinum and palladium are fully dissociated by means of fine grinding, and platinum and palladium minerals are effectively recovered by means of flotation. The platinum palladium concentrate finally obtained has a platinum+palladium grade greater than 60g/t, an enrichment ratio greater than 60, and a content of impurity Cr2O3 less than 3%. The chromite Cr2O3 grade is greater than 41%, and the recovery rate is greater than 70%. The present method has a simple process flow, a high technical index, is easy to be industrialized, and realizes the comprehensive recovery of valuable elements in primary vein platinum mine tailings.
