Abstract:
A method for preparing a benzoxazine-containing resin composition, and a prepreg and a laminate prepared from the resin composition. The method for preparing a benzoxazine-containing resin composition is: adding an acid filler to a benzoxazine-containing resin composition, the benzoxazine-containing resin composition containing a benzoxazine resin, an epoxy resin A1 with an epoxide equivalent weight between 150 and 450, and an epoxy resin A2 with an epoxide equivalent weight between 451 and 1,000. By adding an acid filler to a resin composition, the polymerization reaction between benzoxazine and an epoxy resin is significantly promoted, and the curing temperature required for polymerizing benzoxazine and an epoxide is decreased. A laminate prepared from the resin composition in which the acid filler is added has high peeling stability, high glass transition temperature, low water absorption, high thermal resistance, high bending strength, good processability, and a low thermal expansion coefficient.
