Abstract:
Provided is a benzoxazine resin composition which exhibits excellent heat resistance and moisture resistance and can form a prepreg with excellent handleablity. Also provided are a prepreg and a fiber-reinforced composite material which are prepared using the composition. The composition comprises (A) a compound having a benzoxazine ring represented by general formula (1), (B) an epoxy resin, (C) a curing agent, and (D) a toughness improver. In general formula (1), R1 is a non-cyclic C1-12 alkyl group or the like; and hydrogen (H) is bonded to the carbon (C) atom(s) present at the position(s) ortho and/or para to the carbon atom which is a constituent of the aromatic ring and which the oxygen atom is attached to.
