Abstract:
The present invention: receives, from a user, a bet type of a bet uniquely specifying an arrival order of one or more contestants among contestants appearing in a race of a publicly organized competition, a contestant number pattern corresponding to a ranking of contestants in the bet type, and a received amount for the contestant number pattern (S2 and S3); extracts a bet type different from the received bet type (S6); extracts a contestant number pattern for the bet type which has been extracted so as to encompass all received contestant number patterns (S7); calculates a first payout amount on the basis of information on odds corresponding to the received bet type and the contestant number pattern, and the received amount (S8); and calculates an assignment amount to be assigned to the extracted contestant number pattern so that the minimum second payout amount, among second payout amounts which have been calculated on the basis of the information of the odds for an extracted bet type and contestant number pattern, is higher than the amount associated with the first payout amount.
