Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a beverage in which the feel of stimulation to the throat and inherent sourness originating from citric acid and/or a salt thereof are reduced, while also reducing the amounts of sucrose, fructose, and glucose. The present invention relates to a beverage containing a banaba extract, and citric acid and/or a salt thereof, wherein the amount of the citric acid and/or a salt thereof as expressed in terms of citric acid is 0.01-5 g/100 mL, the amount of corosolic acid is 0.01 mg/100 mL or more, and the total amount of sucrose, fructose, and glucose is 4 g/100 mL or less.
