Description:
BEVERAGE SERVING TRAY WITH ARM AND HAND SUPPORTS CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS This application is a Continuation of U.S. Application Serial No. 17/864,908 filed July 14, 2022, which is a Continuation-In-Part of U.S. Design Application Serial No.29/844,147 filed June 27,2022, the entire disclosure of which is incorporated herein by specific reference thereto. FIELD OF INVENTION This invention relates to serving trays, and in particular to beverage serving trays, devices apparatus, and methods for providing serving trays with arm and hand supports. BACKGROUND AND PRIOR ART Waiter and servers have generally used planar surface trays over the years to call beverage containers. However, there are many problems with traditional flat surface trays. Such serving trays can be unbalanced, and can cause wrist pain due to bending of the wrist that is necessary to carry the tray by hand, may have a slippery top surface, and may additionally be difficult to maneuver around other people in a restaurant or other serving venue. Typically, glasses and bottles and beverage containers have to be carefully balanced on a tray while being delivered to a table and/or patron, and can easily topple over and can come crashing down. The resulting damage from broken glass, can both injure patrons and staff. The spilled beverage contents can stain clothing and create hazardous conditions. There is a substantial cost affect for the lost beverages and containers that is not recoverable. Typical flat surface trays have been generally disk or oval shaped or rectangular, and have a limited surface space that does not allow for many glasses and beverage containers to be supported thereon. Beverage service also plays a major role in customer experience and satisfaction. Slow service speed, especially if drinks are dopped and have to be remade will cause a customer to become frustrated and unlikely to come back. Various patents have been proposed over the years to modify beverage serving trays, and have problems. U.S. Pat.8,272,512 to Joseph shows and describes a food and drink tray with arm support and post. However, this tray is expensive to manufacture since there are too many pieces to be molded. This tray would not be able to be made from a single mold. And the tray would be undesirable for purchasers since there are too many pieces. During the assembly, and subsequent use, the pieces can become loose and lost. In addition, the Joseph device can not be stacked when not being used. US Pat. No.6,964,443 to Newton – limitations to what kind of beverage container can be carried. No support to keep tray from falling. Challenges with carrying plates and other items easily. US Pub. App.2014/0339115 to Chiorazzi et al. includes limitations to what kind of beverage container can be carried. The device has a support for hand to grip tray, but no additional support where tray can become unstable. This device would have challenges with carrying plates and other items easily. US Pub. App.2015/0182054 to Shames has limitations to what kind of beverage container can be carried. The Shames device has a support for hand to grip tray, but no additional support where tray can become unstable. This device has challenges with carrying plates and other items easily, and cannot be stacked Some others trays include means for helping the server stabilize such trays with apertures for thumbs or fingers, such as found in US Pat. No. 8,746,456 to Bradley and US Pub. App.2015/0230643 to Kamai et al. Many such designs allow a server to carry multiple drinks, but can be difficult to use since they are not free-standing and can become unbalanced during loading and unloading. Thus, the need exists for solutions to the above problems with the prior art. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION A primary objective of the present invention is to provide beverage serving trays, devices apparatus, and methods for providing serving trays with arm and hand supports. A secondary objective of the present invention is to provide beverage serving trays, devices apparatus, and methods for supporting wine glasses, beer mugs, beverage bottles and beverage cans. An embodiment of the tray can have four (4) left side compartments 100, and four (4) right side compartments 200. Each of the compartments, can be similar in shape and functions. Referring to FIGURS 2A, 2B, 3A. Each compartment can have a diameter of approximately 4 inches to approximately 5 inches. Compartment 110 can have cylindrical inverted cone side walls 112, with an outwardly facing generally V shaped vertical side opening 113. Compartment 110 can have a floor 114 with a central middle opening 115, and a single outer slit opening in the bottom 114 which runs into the bottom of the V shaped vertical side opening 113. Extending below compartment 110 can be three downwardly extending footer tabs 116 arranged in a triangular arrangement. Each of compartments 120-140, and 210-240 can have similar features to compartment 110. An additional central front compartment 300 can be located generally between compartments 110 and 120. Additional central front compartment 300 can include cylindrical inverted cone side walls 312 and a dome shaped opening 311 to one side. The cylindrical inverted cone side walls 312 can include an outwardly facing generally V shaped vertical side opening 313 below the dome shaped opening 311. Compartment 300 can include a floor 314 with a central middle opening 315 and a single outer slit opening 317 in the bottom 314 extending to the V shaped vertical side opening 313. Three downwardly extending footer tabs 316 arranged in a triangular pattern are beneath the cylindrical inverted cone side walls 312. Referring to FIGURES 1A-95, tray 1, can include a downwardly extending support strap 30 extending below the bottom of the tray 1 having a horizontal dimension of approximately 5 inches with a rounded enlarged mid portion. The top of the tray 1 can include a molded out opening 35 for the strap 30. The strap 30 can have an upper concave curved surface, to rest against a forearm of a server. The strap 30 can be located approximately 4 inches from the concave curved indentation 15 in the rear end 10 of the tray 1. The tray 1 can further include a downwardly extending inverted cone shape post 60, that can be located between the strap 30 and the convex curved front end 20 of the tray 1, and be positioned approximately 10 inches behind the convex curved front end 20. The post 60 can be aligned along a straight line between the mid portion of the strap 30. On top of the tray 1, can be a molded inverted cone shape opening 65. FIG.10A is another upper right perspective view of the beverage serving tray 1 of FIG.1A with a wine glass 40 in a compartment 120. Tray 1 can be raised above a surface, such as a table by the footer tabs 116, to create a space therebetween. The base of the wine glass 40 can slide within the slit 113 of the compartment 120, so that lifting the tray 1 up will allow the enlarged bowl portion of the wine glass 40 to be cradled within the compartment 120. FIG.10B is another upper rear left perspective view of the tray of FIG.1A with a beer mug 500 to be positioned into a compartment 120 of the tray 1. The handles of the beer mug 500 can slide downward between the outwardly facing generally V shaped vertical side opening 113 so the mug 50 can sit within the compartment 120. FIG.10C is another upper rear left perspective view of the tray 1 of FIG. 1A with plates 800 stacked thereon. FIG.10D is another upper rear left perspective view of the tray 1 of FIG. 1A with a wine bottle 300 supported in the central front additional compartment 300. FIG.10E is another upper front right perspective view of the tray 1 of FIG. 1A with a wine bottle 300 supported in the central front additional compartment 300. FIG.10F is another lower rear right perspective view of the tray 1 of FIG. 1A with an arm 700 passing through an arm support strap 30 and hand 750 gripping a hand support, which is the downwardly extending post 60. FIG.10G is another upper rear perspective view of the tray 1 of FIG.1A with a hand 750 inserting a wine glass 400 into the tray 1 as described in reference to FIG.10A. FIG.11 is a perspective view of the trays 1 of the previous figures stacked on top of one another, in an interlocking arrangement. The tray can include an anti-skid surface, such as but not limited to a separate layer mat, and/or other material/layer manufactured to create a surface so that beverage containers and/or plates cannot slide around. All surfaces, including the bottom of each compartment and top of the tray can include the anti-skid surface thereon. The term "approximately”/”approximate” can be +/- 10% of the amount referenced. Additionally, preferred amounts and ranges can include the amounts and ranges referenced without the prefix of being approximately.
