Abstract:
A bi-directional escalator with an integrate framework is disclosed. It consists of
a first escalator including a first driver (I) having a first drive shaft (3); a
second escalator including a second driver (II) having a second drive shaft (12);
and a two-stage bevel gear reversing unit. The two-stage bevel gear reversing unit
includes: a first bevel gear (8) connected to the first drive shaft (3), a second
bevel gear (10) connected to the second drive shaft (12), a third bevel gear (9)
engaged with the first bevel gear (8) and the second bevel gear (10), and a main
driving machine (III) which drives the first escalator and the second escalator simultaneity
by means of the two-stage bevel gear reversing unit. The invention is good design,
low cost and energy saving.
