A bi-directional first-type single-working-medium combined cycle, which belongs to the technical field of thermodynamics and refrigeration. The bi-directional first-type single-working-medium combined cycle refers to a closed process composed of the following ten processes that are performed separately or jointly by M1 kg of a working medium and M2 kg of the working medium: an endothermic vaporization process 12 performed by M1 kg of the working medium, a pressure increasing process 23 performed by M1 kg of the working medium, an endothermic process 34 performed by (M1+M2) kg of the working medium, a pressure increasing process 45 performed by (M1+M2) kg of the working medium, an endothermic process 56 performed by (M1+M2) kg of the working medium, a pressure reduction process 67 performed by (M1+M2) kg of the working medium, an exothermic process 78 performed by (M1+M2) kg of the working medium, a pressure reduction process 83 performed by M2 kg of the working medium, an exothermic condensation process 89 performed by M1 kg of the working medium, and a pressure reduction process 91 performed by M1 kg of the working medium.
