Abstract:
A bi-directional medical suturing device which operates simply and safely, and an operation method thereof are provided. This bi-directional medical suturing device (1) is provided with a needle member (10) and a holding member (20). The needle member (10) is arranged so as to be capable of distal and proximal movement with respect to the bi-directional medical suturing device (1), and the holding member (20) has a thread-shape material holding unit (21), said thread-shape material holding unit (21) being provided so as to be capable of rotating about a direction normal to the distal-proximal direction of the bi-directional medical suturing device (1).
