Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a biasing device that is easy to attach to a target member and prevents said target member from becoming scratched. [Solution] A biasing device (1) interposed between a glove compartment (2) and a dashboard (3) is provided with: a support base (11) formed in the glove compartment; an abutting body (13) that elastically contacts the dashboard and has a rotary shaft (12) that is rotatably supported by the support base; and a torsion coil spring (14) held by the abutting body. One end (14b) of said torsion coil spring biases the abutting body in the elastic-contact direction. The support base has: a bearing section (21, 21) that supports the rotary shaft; and a spring-catch block (23) that engages with and holds the other end (14c) of the elastic member.
