Abstract:
The present invention provides: a biaxially stretched polypropylene film that exhibits high insulation breakdown strength even at high temperatures; a metallized film using the biaxially stretched polypropylene film; and a capacitor. More particularly, the present invention provides the biaxially stretched polypropylene film which comprises a linear polypropylene resin A and a branched polypropylene resin B and which is characterized in that: (1) the mass ratio of the linear polypropylene resin A to the branched polypropylene resin B (linear polypropylene resin A : branched polypropylene resin B) is 99.0:1.0 to 85.0:15.0; (2) the linear polypropylene resin A has a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of the weight-average molecular weight Mw to the number-average molecular weight Mn of 7.0 to 9.3 inclusive; and (3) the storage modulus (E') at a vibration frequency of 1 Hz and a temperature of 160°C of the biaxially stretched polypropylene film is 22.50 to 31.00 MPa inclusive.
