Abstract:
A bib relates to items for daily use for protecting clothing from spilled food, saliva, and other foreign objects, and can be used for both infants and adults, including bedridden persons, and can also be used in cosmetic procedures for protecting and working with areas of the neck and chin. The bib consists of a lower part and an upper part, wherein the upper part is made in the form of a headband to be placed on the head and under the chin of a user such that an area for catching food and saliva is created, and the lower part is made in the form of a sheet, positioned perpendicularly to the upper part, and meant for protecting clothing from spilled food and saliva. The upper part of the bib can be configured with slits in order to provide stability on the head of the user, said slits not reaching down to ear level. The part of the headband situated under the chin is multi-layered. A bib configured thusly protects the clothing and body of a user more effectively.
