Abstract:
The present invention provides a p-type organic semiconductor material that is easily produced and has high planarity in a polymer lattice, and provides an organic thin film solar cell, a photoelectric conversion element, a photoelectric conversion layer, and a photoelectric conversion material using the p-type organic semiconductor material and having high photoelectric conversion efficiency. Specifically, provided are a bibenzo[b]furan compound having at least one constituent element represented by formula (1) or (2), and an organic thin film solar cell, photoelectric conversion element, photoelectric conversion layer, and photoelectric conversion material using the compound in a p-type organic semiconductor material. (In the formulae: R13 and R14 represent a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom, a bromine atom, an iodine atom, an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group, an optionally substituted hydrocarbon oxy group, or an optionally substituted heterocyclic group.)
