Abstract:

A biconical ring has an annular body (1) made of rubber or plastics and provided with a cylindrical hole. A cylinder (2) is arranged in the axial middle of the outer side of the annular body (1); cones (3) are arranged at two axial ends of the annular body (1); an annular groove (4) having the same height as the cylinder (2) is arranged on the outer surface of the cylinder (2); and a metal hoop ring (5) having the same dimension as the annular groove (4) is arranged in the annular groove (4). The biconical ring can be used in articulated pipe fittings, the use is simple in processing, convenient and rapid in mounting, and also meets the requirement of a pipeline on telescopic deformation due to temperature change, avoids damage to the surface of a pipe body, reduces the connecting cost of pipes, and meets the requirement on corrosion resistance.
